Denim Care 101

This is for all of you who thought I was crazy when I told you NOT to put your jeans in the washer or dryer to get them clean and perfectly worn in…
This month’s GQ Magazine has a few tips from Levi’s designer, Carl Chiara on how to achieve that perfectly aged look on even your newest jeans:
1. Wear your jeans frequently…and really wear them!

2. Hold out as long as possble before washing. If they start to smell,
“put fabric softner sheets in the pockets at night to freshen them up”.

3. Avoid the washing machine. To clean them, soak them in cold water
with a small amount of white vinegar…and then hang them to dry.
